A two-door Dutch commode of sober design. The piece is borne by four tapering, diagonally oriented legs with faux cannelures and small brass feet. The legs are connected by an undulating border. The upper edges of the legs segue into the similarly diagonally oriented ribs flanking the doors. The doors are decorated with an inlaid frame in a meander pattern. Beneath the commode’s top is a band of dentils.
