Very rare Regence-period two-barrel bronze hand candlestick.

The barrels are cast "à la coquille" in two parts, the handle in two parts. Formerly silver-plated and fitted with a diffuser screen.
Assembled as a bouillotte lamp in the 19th century, with green-lacquered sheet metal lampshade.
Very fine quality, both in form and workmanship.
Paris, early 18th century.

Lamp height: 45 cm.
Candlestick dimensions: 13.8 cm high x 17.5 cm wide.

Very good condition, pierced for electricity.
