A tortoiseshell and mother of pearl cased portrait miniature of King Louis XVI of France.
French, late 18th century.
Measures 11.5 x 9 x 1cm.
The miniature is set within a gilt metal case decorated with sunburst designs in mother of pearl and tortoiseshell. The interior is set with the King of France to the right and a vanity mirror to the left.
