Pair of Empire armchairs stamped by JACOB

Pair of solid mahogany and mahogany veneered armchairs.
Straight backs, slightly curved, turned armrests, with stylized lotus leaves, arm supports falling in line with the front legs, thus simulating double sheaths of inverted pear-shaped swords, decorated with palmettes and scrolls.
Rear feet in "sabres".
Curved seat crosspieces.
Quality Parisian work from the first quarter of the 19th century.
JACOB's stamps on the outside of the lower backs.
