Table centerpiece in Wallendorf Porcelain - Mid 18th century

This groupor centerpiece represents a kind of mountain symbolized on which are characters.
At the top there is a gallant scene with a man and a woman and a bird at their feet, halfway up two figures hold the a large garland of flowers, in the lower part a woman is holding a flower.
On the back a spaniel descends and a man sitting holds in his hands a bird's nest and a turtledove.
In fact, this group is the symbol of a love encounter celebrated by the bearers of garlands and flowers and on the back the fowler who plundering the nests represent the lover.
On la disposait au centre d'une table comme un décor, pratique esthétique datant de très longtemps; il y avait par exemple les automates sous la Renaissance ou les monuments miniatures dans lesquels excella Guiseppe Valadier.
Moreover, its uniqueness indicates commissioned work, for a wedding or engagement.
The quality of the characters is excellent, decorations always different for the clothes and with knots of all colors, there is an "infinity" of flowers, in bouquets, garlands, baskets or on the grass.
This group is marked on the side of the terrace and this acronym corresponds to the period from the beginning of this factory in 1764 until about 1780.
The factory of Wallendorf opened in 1764 some decades after Meissen.
Its mark resembles at Meissen because there was competition between the two,...
This very large piece ( 10 kilos ) is a technical prowess regardless of its charm and it was placed in front of a mirror to see the birder.

Condition :
I acquired it in a good original state, dirty but no important accident, very few flowers broken compared to the number, so for restoration except the cleaning only the head of the birder has been restored, the woman's arm ( in pink ) and some knots.

Dimensions :
33 ( diameter of the base ) x 45 ( height ) cm.
