Important and very beautiful christ in painting, Regency period around 1720, from the very beginning of the XVIIIth century.
The ivory Christ that we present is of great finesse in its chasing and a great dramatic expression very popular in the Regency style. Its gilded wood frame carved with acanthus leaves, a Berain frame and its original mirrors complete the decor.
A large pediment decorated with a large acanthus leaf is openwork.
From a collector in Ile de France.
In very good condition.
