The Harvester - Henri Gauquié (1858-1927)

Large bronze with golden patina representing a grape harvester emptying her hood of grapes, it is signed H.Gauquié on the terrace and bears the inscription F. BARBEDIENNE Fondeur PARIS, beautiful casting of the beginning of the XXth century.
GAUQUIE Henri (1858-1927) He is the author of the dancing loves around the four main candelabras of the Alexander III bridge in Paris, student of Cavalier, he is mentioned in the salon from 1880, he sends in particular in 1905 the Harvesting woman in marble, it was edited in bronze by F. BARBEDIENNE.
