Precious mahogany console, finely chiseled and ormolu (gilt bronze) decoration, Carrara marble, bronze gallery. 1 drawer,1 shelf. Parisian production, not stamped, late Louis XVI / Directory period (late 18th century).
A graceful and very refined piece furniture ; the kind of model that was copied by the great 19th century cabinetmakers. Our console is the original 18th century model, with a top-of-the-range, luxurious finish. Ideal to complete a refined decoration in a boudoir, a living room or a hall.

Excellent condition, varnished is cleaned by our cabinetmaker, mercury gilt in good condition,
