Bath from a deser - in the taste of Luigi Valadier
Rosso antico and ormolu.
Object of the Grand Tour, XIX century.
This bath is inspired by the antique and very close to the miniature models created by Luigi Valadier (1726-1785) for the deser of the Bailli de Breteuil in 1778. These desers reproducing temples, arches and other ancient vestiges with a great variety of semi precious stones are the most emblematic creations of the Valadiers despite the fact that only three are known today in a more or less complete set.
