Sebastien Dulac (1802-1851)
is a French painter, specialized in the scenes of kinds and the portraits. 

He appeared in the Paris Salon from 1824 to 1851. 
"His small genre paintings often show popular Italian scenes are very picturesque and colorful."

He has a real sense of detail and theatrical staging. 
 Some of his scenes remind us of Dutch painting.
