Italian Seat

The crosspieces of the back and the base of this important armchair in walnut wood are decorated with reserves engraved with flowers in an entourage of foliage and scrolls.
The uprights are decorated with chevrons and the armrests are carved with leaves and finished with a scroll.
The four legs are joined by a crosspiece decorated like the backrest bands at the front, and by three other simple crosspiece on the sides and rear.
The back of the backrest is engraved with a cross is surrounded by Sto Cvo, dated 1733 and encrypted P.G.P.
