Aucoc - Travel / vanity set

Travel / vanity set : 16 sterling silver, cristal, and tortoiseshell items set into a ebony veneered box, crown of Marquis on the cover. Second half of 19th century. Accessories are decorated with a double coat of arms under a crown of Marquis. The noble families are identified Frotier de Bagneux and Frain de la Villegontier

French hallmark Minerva 1st standard on silver items (the highest purity silver : 950 / 1000, even more than traditional 925 / 1000 sterling silver) and famous silversmith Aucoc stamp.

Beautiful, fine set in excellent condition.
