Set in front of a palace, this scene shows an old man, children, and a middle-aged man with young women. This scene is known as the 3 Ages of Life. One of the children is carried by a deer, a symbol of wealth. Wealth and prosperity, that is the meaning of this type of decor, which was often given as a birthday present. Reverse glass painting. Beautiful hongmu frame. The Greek decor also present on the back of the frame allows a screen mounting.
