Stained glass rectangular armorial panel with a knight in full harness protecting the heraldic shield of De Bourbon, one of the oldest noble families in France that can be retraced to the year 900. Members of De Bourbon dynasty have been kings of Navarra, of France from 1589-1795, of Parma, of both Sicilies and Spain (until today). The knight has an exceptionally delicate expression. Grisaille and silver stain. Beautiful hues of deep warm orange. Excellent condition: not a single crack!
