Japanese brisé fan, elephant ivory, decorated in hiramaki-e and takamaki-e lacquer in different shades of gold and red, Shibayama inlays for the figures..
Main face representing a rural landscape animated with characters, Back leaf decorated with birds and flowers. Original silk cord and ivory ojime with Shibayama inlay.
Former G. Lévy collection.
Exhibited at the Fan Museum in London in July 2019.
Published in the exhibition catalog.
