A exceptionnel pair of cups and saucers, of lobed shape, decorated on a gold background, of European scenes in the style of Watteau.
Christian Friedrich Herold period 1727 - 1728

Marked of swords in underglaze blue.

Excellent condition no restoration.
The gold and the decoration of these cups and saucers are of a high quality.
Given their quality, it is likely that these cups were never used.
