        18thC Marriage Commode (chest of drawers) said “with lunette” comprising 2 drawers. Serpentine front and sides. The front is abundantly carved with foliages. On the fretwork low apron, a soup-tureen in which a couple of birds comes to drink. In the center of drawers, a pearl medallion topped by a wrapped knot symbolizing the marriage bonds. In walnut wood.  From Arles ( Provence ).
