Superb writing desk with raised superstructure in solid walnut and rosewood veneer.

The base: The four curved and ribbed legs extend elegantly upwards, branching into arches at the front and joining the desktop, creating a dynamic and airy silhouette.

Marquetry decoration: The central drawer and the back panel of the upper superstructure are adorned with magnificent marquetry in fruitwoods of warm tones, depicting stylized floral motifs of primroses and foliage.

Storage: The desk features a large central frieze drawer with its original key. The raised superstructure includes two drawers, an open compartment, and two lateral storage compartments serving as letter holders.

Desktop: It features a pull-out writing slide providing an additional work surface, with elegantly rounded corners.

Signature: Inlaid into the drawer front.

Condition: Very fine original condition, with a waxed finish.
