Barometer and thermometer made of carved, polychrome, and gilded wood, from the Louis XV–Louis XVI transition period, 18th century.

Decorated with laurel leaves and topped with a ribbon bow.

The barometer is adorned with a wreath of flowers in the center.

Barometer based on Torricelli’s design (1608–1647).

Thermometer based on Réaumur’s design (1683–1757).

Good condition.

Mechanism restored.
