Two incense burners depicting Buadai, China porcelain, Kangxi period

Two incense burners depicting Budai, made of turquoise-glazed Chinese porcelain. Both figures represent Budai, the god of happiness, modeled in a seated pose, wearing loose-fitting robes that leave their bellies exposed; each holds a pearl necklace in their left hand, with the cylindrical incense burner resting on its side.
Dated to the Kangxi period (1662–1722).
Height: 6 cm; Width: 5.5 cm.
One incense holder has a small chip at the end that is visible.
Provenance: collection of the Marquise of Cortina, Madrid, Spain.
