Empire period pedestal-shaped chest of drawers opening with a door concealing ten drawers, bearing an old collection mark “H. L.” (hot iron brand), in oak veneered with mahogany and topped with a granite slab.
Elegant Empire period cabinet chest, designed as a pedestal and concealing an interior fitted with ten storage drawers.
Made of oak veneered with finely figured flame mahogany, it displays a beautiful grain pattern. The detached column uprights are decorated with finely chased and gilt bronze rings and capitals. The whole is surmounted by a black granite top.
This piece of furniture offers particularly practical and discreet storage functionality.
A rare feature, the chest bears an old ownership mark “H. L.” branded with a hot iron, attesting to its provenance.
