Stamped by Boucault and JME hallmark.

Good condition for the woodwork; fine home condition for the fabric (note a few small stains).

Width: 75 cm.
Depth: 80 cm.
Height: 98 cm.

Jean Boucault (1705 - 1786) was received as master on April 8, 1728. A joiner based on rue de Cléry, he produced good-quality models, mainly Louis XV and sometimes Transitional. He supplied the Garde-Meuble de la Couronne and also had as clients the Duc de Choiseul and Louise-Elisabeth, Duchesse de Parme. His career ended in 1780 (Pierre Kjellberg, Le mobilier français du XVIIIème siècle).
