Beautiful and elegant basket-shaped sofa, Louis XV period, 18th century, Provençal work.
Private collection, having always remained within the same family.
Dimensions: H. 98 cm × W. 200 cm × D. 58 cm.
We present this fine basket-shaped sofa model, carved with flowers and scrolls, featuring the curved lines characteristic of the Rocaille style of the second half of the 18th century.
It is made of walnut and upholstered in Genoese velvet in buttercup yellow tones.
In very good condition (minor reinforcement to the rear right leg).
