19th century Maple chair by Theophil Hansen

Maple chair speckled by Theophil Hansen, last third of the 19th century, curved, turned and partly fluted, sculpture of dolphins at the back covering in brown leather.

One can reasonably think that this armchair was produced for the Schloss Hernstein, because among the furniture of the castle, there are still objects using the same selection of materials and stylistic patterns, such as spirals and fish identical to those of our chair.
