Of very large dimensions, they display an elegant and monumental silhouette. Each vase rests on a fluted circular pedestal set on a base, one of which features on one side a small opening that is original and will not evolve over time.
The body, widely flared, is decorated in its lower part with gadroons, while the central section is adorned with a relief frieze composed of scrolling foliage and floral motifs inspired by Antiquity.
The vases flare outward at the top, ending in a wide band of beading along the rim.
On either side of the central section, two handles in the form of mythological heads (Bacchus) frame each vase.
