A pair of fine George II mirrors, London, c. 1770, labelled ‘William Froom’

The mirrors feature a magnificent asymmetrical design, embellished with rocaille motifs, shell ornaments and scrolls. The candlesticks, in gilded lead, are highly worked.
Adhesive label on the back, signed William Froom, London.
It can be assumed that Froom sold these two mirrors in his store, but they certainly date from an earlier production.
Very good condition, with some minor retouching and consolidation measures.
