Clock and candlestick set, Art Nouveau “Chrysanthemums”

Rare and exceptional garniture set in solid mahogany and gilt bronze. The clock rests on a molded base and features three arched uprights; the case is openworked, deeply curved, and sculpted, while the circular dial in relief displays a polychrome patina. The candlesticks are also openworked and curved, with arms forming chandeliers in solid bronze. Original pendulum, French-polished finish, and superb cabinetmaking quality.
