A carved and giltwood chandelier with asymmetrical decoration. A circular frame supports and holds eight light arms, formed in curves and counter-curves, richly adorned with foliage and scrolls. Above, the central baluster-shaped stem, crowned and featuring three scrolling handles, is decorated with gadrooning, water leaves, foliage, and volutes. The upper finial consists of acanthus leaves curling around a flattened knop. The gadrooned and beaded sockets are supported by an ornamented circular drip pan.
