A pair of famille rose ‘rooster’ jardinieres.
Qing dynasty, 19th century.
Decorated in overglaze enamels with roosters in a naturalistic environment among peonies, chrysanthemums, cherry blossoms, and magnolia. Both jardinieres come with their original metal inside containers.
