Art Deco - Art Nouveau - Ceramics and Slip
The Harcourt model, created in 1841 by Baccarat, is one of the brand’s most iconic glass collections. Recognized for its unique "triple button gondola" shape, it quickly became a symbol of prestige, used by Napoleon III, at presidential dinners, and even at the Vatican.
In 1925, the collection was renamed "Harcourt" in honor of one of France's oldest noble families. Over the years, designers like Philippe Starck have reinterpreted this model, giving it a modern touch while preserving its classic design.
Today, the Harcourt glass remains a symbol of elegance and excellence in tableware, embodying the craftsmanship and history of Baccarat.
