A Louis XV period walnut commode in the Arbalète style. It opens with two large drawers and a drop-front revealing four smaller drawers arranged in tiers, six compartments, and a trapdoor. The crossbar is shaped. The sides have molded panels, and the rounded uprights terminate in scrolls. Southwestern French work. 18th century. Very good original condition.
