A carved oak chest with seven panels decorated in a linenfold pattern on the front and sides. The hinged top is secured with a wrought-iron hasp. A Templar mark is present beneath the chest. All original features are present, including the hinges and nails under the lid. Small in size. Dimensions: Length 90 cm, Depth 47 cm, Height 59 cm. France, pre-16th century
