Offered by Art Revival
Henriette Marty is the daughter of Alexandre Marty, an enameler who worked in Camille Fauré's workshop. Together, they played an active role in the revival of Limoges enamel in the 1920s and 1930s, with their creations being exported all over the world.
The vase shown here is decorated with three stylized birds flying over a series of wavy patterns characteristic of Art Deco. The vibrant, deeply saturated colors perfectly highlight the composition.
An elegant piece, representative of the Marty family's expertise and a design that is uncommon in their production.
