Beautiful 17th-century burl walnut and repoussé brass framed mirror.
It features a double frame surrounded by molded, black-tinted moldings and richly decorated with floral, fruit, and foliage motifs arranged in bouquets or garlands. This exuberant decoration is reproduced on the similarly openwork brass plaques and spandrels.
The backing is original.
