Hunter and washerwoman, 18th century aubusson tapestry

Wool and silk tapestry, depicting a washerwoman in the foreground, carrying two baskets on her head and arm. In the background, a hunter aims at an animal (fox?) in front of a backdrop of greenery, trees and a village in the distance.

In the format of a door, our tapestry has beautiful fresh colors as well as its border.

Aubusson, 18th century.

Good general condition; some old restorations; fixed by a velcro system allowing an even distribution of the hanging.
