Furniture and art objects from the 17th, 18th and early 19th
Pair of Louis XVI period candelabra in finely chased, patinated and gilt bronze, depicting two vestals draped in long classical robes.
Each figure supports a cornucopia topped with a flame from which emerge three scrolling candle arms, chased with eagle heads surmounted by sockets.
They rest on cylindrical white marble bases set on gilt-bronze square plinths.
The ensemble, retaining its original gilding, is enriched with chains, foliated friezes, rosettes, and strings of pearls.
Parisian work, in very fine state of preservation.
