Old Masters Paintings and Antique Furniture from the 16th to the 18th century
Impressive French triptych consisting of a table clock and two porcelain candlesticks with gilt bronze parts.
The candlesticks have a decorated central stem and four equally decorated curved side arms ending in candle holders, while the base of the candlestick rests on a ceramic element decorated with blue and white vase motifs ending in a gilded bronze base;
The same concept applies to the table clock with the same side decoration of lion heads, blue and white porcelain decorations and the addition of the clock in the centre.
The table clock and the two candlesticks are made of Delft porcelain and were in high demand in France throughout the 19th century. Even today, it is one of the most appreciated and loved styles for its originality, size and the freshness of the porcelain, which adds harmony and colour to the environment in which it is placed.
Candlestick dimensions: height 76 cm, width of outer arms 24 cm, width of base 14 cm.
