A rare French piece of furniture from the second half of the 18th century, with a shaped, threaded form and veneered in rosewood and other woods, with beautiful non-contemporary marble in warm colours and a delicate, captivating exotic shape.

Of particular note are the full signature of this great French cabinetmaker from the second half of the 18th century (full Louis XVI period) and the gilding on the piece.
