Elegant necklace in 18 carat yellow gold, a typical Belle Époque jewel, composed of a succession of finely chased elements in leafy garlands and rosettes, punctuated with small flowers, fine pearls and garlands of falling flowers. In the centre, a faceted oval blue stone (sapphire) set in a pearl surround underlines the elegance of the composition. Double safety clasp.
The interplay of beaded chains, openwork volumes and floral details evokes the romantic spirit of French jewellery around 1900. The necklace is distinguished by the balance of its shapes, the finesse of its engraving and the harmony of its materials.
