It is a decorative and elegant ensemble, finely chiseled with a black patina, depicting a symbolic Annunciation scene. An angel, having laid down its quiver and bow, stands before a nymph seated on a mound, evoking a moment of revelation or divine message. The ensemble rests on a base of green marble.

This superb French bronze group, dating from the Romantic period around 1830-1840, demonstrates great artistic quality and exceptional craftsmanship.
