Auguste PREVOT-VALERI (1857-1930) Shepherdess and her sheep on the heights of Villiers sur Morin Oil on canvas 32x54cm 50x73cm framed (available for sale) Auguste PREVOT-VALERI (1857-1930) Villeneuve-sur-Yonne, 1857 -Jouarre 1930. Painter of the second generation of Villiers-sur-Morin, friend of Amédée Elie SERVIN (1829-1884) the “master of the Morin valley”. He exhibited regularly at the Salon from 1884 to 1929. Rosa Bonheur Prize in 1908, Officer of the Academy, bronze medal at the 1900 Universal Exhibition, he painted a large number of landscapes from Villiers to Coulommiers.
