Sculpture in gilt bronze and patinated bronze representing a tiger in ruins facing a statue of a Chinese Fô dog. Work circa 1920 entitled ‘Dans les ruines’ (‘In the ruins’). Art Deco period. Large bronze statue standing on a cherry red marble base. Signed "G. Gardet‘ and pretigious founder's mark ’F. Barbedienne. Fondeur". Perfect condition.
