Easter egg by the famous Russian goldsmith Ivan Khlebnikov in openwork and cloisonné enamel on gilded silver, serving as a box. One side bears the Cyrillic inscription “Christ Risen”, the other side five crosses in medallions.
Inside stamped by Ivan Khlebnikov Saint-Petersburg between 1880 and 1890.

Active from 1871 to 1917, official supplier to Grand Duke Constantine in 1872, then in 1873 supplier of items for Grand Duchess Marie's wardrobe. In 1877, he was appointed supplier to Grand Duke Vladimir, and in 1879 the Khlebnikov House received the title of supplier to the court of H.M.I.
