Jean Tetard - Art déco Solid Silver Jug, circa 1930

Elegant Art Deco-style solid silver jug, resting on a wide oval base with subtly curved sides. The domed lid is topped with a rosewood knob, creating a harmonious contrast with the polished silver. The rosewood side handle is sculpted into soft, ergonomic scrolls, typical of the modernist refinement of the 1930s. The tapered line of the spout contributes to the fluid and dynamic aesthetic of the whole.
