Pair of walnut scissor seats, convertible into kneeler. Tuscany, 17th century This is an interesting Baroque example among the various types of kneeler-chairs known up to the 15th century. The upper backrest folds over the pivoted armrests at one end, thus transforming the piece of furniture into a practical kneeler. Dimensions: width 60cm, depth 60cm, seat height 35cm, total height 83cm
