LARGE IVORY TANKARD

Large ivory tankard with body entirely carved with a battle scene between knights and beasts, stepped lid, the main band ribbed, the others with leafy scrolls, fruits, masks and stylised decorations surmounted by a rampant lion with a coat of arms in the round, double curved perforated handle carved in the shape of a tiger, rocailles base with masks.
