An elegant and decorative carved wooden console, openwork and gilded, resting on four cabriole legs united by a stretcher. Beautifully sculpted decor featuring openwork shells, flowers, foliate motifs, fruit clusters, and scrolls. Top made of veined grey-beige marble with a beveled edge.
In the Rocaille style, this is a fine example of late 18th-century Italian craftsmanship.

We are pleased to offer our console in good condition with some wear to its fine gilding, which adds to its charm. We note a small restoration at the back of the marble.
