        Manufacture of Darte in Paris 
Very large porcelain vase of baluster form, the pedestal resting on a square base.  It is decorated in polychrome on one side in a cartouche with a painting representing the Virgin and Child and John the Baptist, on the other side a landscape with an aqueduct. The background is entirely gilded with bright and matt motifs of antique-style women's heads, foliage, garlands and palms. 
First quarter of the 19th century circa 1810 - 1820
