Psyche

Fitting mirror "Psyche"
This fitting mirror is very richly executed.
This is manifested by the use of rosewood and the beautifully inlaid satinwood trim.
The particularly fine wood carved lion feet are decorated with an acanthus leaf, gilded with gold leaf, as are the ornaments on the pillars.
There are two beautiful bronze ormolu ornaments in tympanum and lower rail.
This psyche was made in the Empire period, circa 1810 in France.
