Large Pair Of 18th Century Reliquary Monstrances

Italian work from the 18th century, in carved wood and gilded with gold leaves. Here we have 16 relics presented two by two in eight medallions with clearly visible name labels. On a background painted in red, the color of Christ, there are small ex-ossibus fragments of the following saints: Edesio of Alexandria – Cosma and Damian – Anastasia - Ansano of Siena – Crispinal – Maddalena of Pazzi - Pilgrim Laziosi – Protasio and Gerviaso – Mercurio di Caesarea – Neophito di Nicea – Flora di Cordoba – Irene di Tessalonica – Ignatio di Antiochia and finally Hermettemisure
Presence of five episcopal seals on the back on each of the monstrances.
Dimensions of 100 cm high by 50 wide and 17.5 cm deep.
Good condition – some missing logic.
